Today (9th), the temperature in Uljin, Gyeongbuk recorded a record high of 30.0℃ in early April.

In the case of Uljin, observations started in 1971, and the highest temperature so far was 28.8℃ on April 10, 2004.

This is the first time in Japan that the temperature in early April recorded the 30℃ range at the Kansai observation point, which is recognized as an official record.

The 29.6℃ observed in Cheongju on April 5, 1994 was the highest so far in early April.

The Korea Meteorological Administration believes that the temperature in the eastern region has risen as the warm southwest wind blows with the low-south pressure arrangement, and the wind blowing from the west to the east crosses the mountain range and heats up.

The temperature in Pohang also climbed to 28.4℃, recording its second place, and Gangneungdo recording its third place at 27.3℃.

The temperature in Seoul also rose to 24.1℃ as of 3pm, showing the temperature in mid-May.
