  Recently, the Office of the National Medical Insurance Administration and the Medical Assistance Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism for the New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic have jointly deployed a new round of price reductions for new crown nucleic acid tests across the country, requiring all provinces to cut prices three times in a row in 2021, before April 8. Reduce the government-guided price for single-person nucleic acid testing in public medical institutions to no more than 28 yuan per person, and the government-guided price for multi-person mixed testing to no more than 8 yuan per person. Provinces with special circumstances May be extended until April 30th.

  Up to now, 30 provinces across the country have issued documents to lower the government-guided prices.

Jilin, Shandong, Heilongjiang and other 27 provinces lowered the single-person inspection to 28 yuan per person, and Xinjiang, Hainan, and Beijing were the lowest in the country, at 25.1 yuan, 25 yuan and 24.9 yuan per person, respectively.

Hunan, Jiangxi and other 23 provinces lowered the multi-person mixed inspection to 8 yuan per person, 5 provinces including Shandong, Hebei, Anhui, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong and other 5 provinces lowered it to 6 yuan per person, and Beijing lowered it to no higher than per person. 5.9 yuan, the lowest in Xinjiang, 3.5 yuan per person.

  After the new price policy is fully implemented, it will further reduce the burden of nucleic acid testing costs, especially for the service industry, small and micro enterprises and employees with high testing frequency.
