He stabbed his throat with a sharp chicken bone while eating a sandwich from a famous food chain and received hospital treatment, but the victim is outraged by the company's reckless response.

A (34), an office worker living in Seoul, was eating a sandwich with chicken at a store near his house on the 12th of last month and suddenly felt something stinging in his throat.

He immediately vomited his food, revealing a thin, slender chicken bone about two centimeters in length.

He continued to feel pain around his throat after being stabbed by a chicken bone for several days and feeling like something was lodged in him.

As soon as the weekend passed, he went to the hospital and the wound was swollen and he was prescribed medicine.

However, Mr. A claims that the company's response was very reckless.

The company said that it would refund the sandwich price and compensate for hospital treatment costs, but no action was taken even after three weeks, and they responded with no sincerity when contacted.

Looking at the transcript provided by Mr. A, the manager of the store that sold the sandwich did not say he was sorry and said, "It is said that bones can be in a sandwich under the Food Sanitation Act." There has been,” he explained.

Today (7th), Mr. A said, "I have no intention of receiving a refund or compensation through media reports. I just hope that the company's unfaithful customer service will improve so that another victim does not appear. How does the company put chicken bones in a sandwich? It would be nice if you could reveal what happened and what you will do to prevent a similar incident from happening again."

He said, "I ate it as raw chicken, but sharp bones came out. Another problem is that we did not notify customers in advance that chicken bones could come out. We also reported it to the Food and Drug Administration."

Regarding this, the company said, "We sincerely apologize for not being able to investigate more quickly and contact you more often in consideration of the customer's point of view." It is presumed,” he said.
