China News Service, Tianjin, April 3 (Reporter Wang Junyan) The reporter learned from Tianjin Port Group on the 3rd that the Panamanian-registered cargo ship "Fair", which had sailed at sea for more than 20 days, slowly entered Tianjin Port Dagusha at 17:12 on the 2nd. Channel, berth at L10 berth in Tianjin Lingang Port Area.

The ship will complete 52,500 tons of potash fertilizer import operations with a value of nearly 200 million yuan at Tianjin Port.

This is the 5th potash fertilizer import cargo ship ushered in by Tianjin Port this year, and it also broke the record for the largest single ship carrying and unloading imported potash fertilizers in the past five years.

The batch of potash fertilizers will then be supplied to Hebei, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Shandong to ensure spring ploughing during the agricultural season.

It is reported that China is the world's largest potash fertilizer consumer, and Tianjin Port is an important port for China's potash fertilizer imports.

"In the stage of ensuring spring ploughing, the market demand for potash fertilizer is relatively large," said Kang Yuegang, deputy business manager of Tianjin Zhongnong Production Materials Co., Ltd.

According to reports, since the "Fairness" ship departed from Vancouver, Canada, departments such as customs, maritime affairs, border inspection and Tianjin Port Group have closely followed the ship's navigation dynamics and connected various tasks.

Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration adopts measures such as "priority approval, anchoring, inspection, and security inspection" to serve the "last mile" of water transportation of spring ploughing materials; Tianjin Customs implements special quality and safety risk monitoring on all categories of imported fertilizers to ensure that farmers can use them. Rest assured; Tianjin Frontier Inspection Station has launched a special support plan for key material ships, giving priority to ensuring the rapid customs clearance of this ship.

In addition, prior to the operation, Tianjin Port Group prioritized important cargo and ship production operations to optimize and shorten the operation cycle due to the tight loading time and heavy loading tasks of chemical fertilizers during the "spring ploughing and fertilizer preparation" period.

Tianjin Lingang Port Company guarantees 24-hour uninterrupted loading and unloading to ensure the efficiency of ship operations.

The reporter also learned that since the beginning of this year, Tianjin Customs has accumulatively supervised over 120,000 tons of imported potash fertilizers, a substantial increase over the same period last year.
