Zhongxin Finance, April 1st. A few days ago, the National Medical Insurance Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Health and Health Commission jointly held a 2022 national video conference on the special rectification of fraud and insurance fraud.
The meeting pointed out that the special rectification action in 2021 has achieved remarkable results.
In the whole year, a total of 708,000 designated medical institutions were inspected, 411,000 were investigated and punished, and 23.4 billion yuan of medical insurance funds were recovered.
The medical insurance and health departments have assisted the public security organs in detecting more than 2,031 criminal cases of fraudulent medical insurance funds, arresting more than 5,002 criminal suspects, recovering 510 million yuan of medical insurance funds involved, and detecting 349 cases of illegal operation of medical insurance drugs, involving an amount of 1.5 billion yuan ; 212 clues on special issues were transferred to the discipline inspection and supervision department.
