  On the 29th, the Hurun Research Institute released the "2022 Hurun Global Self-made Female Entrepreneurs List", which lists the world's self-made female billionaire entrepreneurs.

Among them, China not only swept the top five, but also has two-thirds of the world's most successful female entrepreneurs in total, more than three times that of the second-placed United States.

Who are the top ten female entrepreneurs in the world?

  Among the 11 people in the top ten (tied for tenth place), China occupies eight seats and swept the top five.

  Wu Yajun, 58, of Longfor Real Estate, has become the world's most successful female entrepreneur with a fortune of 105 billion yuan, up two places from last year. This is also the fourth time she has become the world's most successful female entrepreneur in more than ten years.

According to the 2021 annual performance report released by Longfor Group on the 25th, Longfor Group achieved a turnover of 223.38 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21%; the core net profit attributable to the parent was 22.44 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.1%.

  Fan Hongwei, 55, of Hengli, a textile materials manufacturer, maintained second place with 81 billion yuan, with his wealth shrunk by 41%.

Fan Hongwei, a former accountant, bought a dying textile factory with her husband Chen Jianhua in 1994. After years of successful operation, the couple established Hengli and built it into the world's largest weaving company.

  Luxshare Precision's 55-year-old Wang Laichun entered the top three for the first time with 70 billion yuan, up three places, and his wealth shrank by 21%.

  81-year-old Chen Lihua of Fuhua ranked fifth with 58 billion yuan, up 11 places, and her wealth increased by 12%.

Chen Lihua is the oldest Chinese female entrepreneur on the list and a new face in the top ten.

  Cheng Xue, 52, of Haitian Flavor Industry ranked eighth with 50 billion yuan, down 1 place, and her wealth shrank by 31%.   "There are 124 female entrepreneurs with billions of dollars in the world, 6 less than last year, but more than 100 more than ten years ago." Hu Run, chairman and chief research officer of Hurun Report, said.

  Among them, China has two-thirds of the most successful female entrepreneurs in the world, with 78, a decrease of 7 from last year, but almost three times that of the second-placed United States (25); the United Kingdom is 5 Ranked third.

  "If you want to understand the global female entrepreneurship, you must start from China. The most successful female entrepreneurs in China are twice as many as the rest of the world combined."   With the development of the times, the threshold for the top ten this year has been doubled five years ago and five times that of ten years ago.

Compared with the top ten five years ago and ten years ago, Wu Yajun, Chen Lihua and Zhou Qunfei are still in this team.

  In addition to the top ten, there are also some distinctive Chinese faces in the entire list.

For example, 35-year-old Lu Yiwen with DR diamond ring made the list for the first time with 39 billion yuan.

  According to data previously released by the Hurun Research Institute, there are 2,343 self-made male billion-dollar entrepreneurs in the world, with a total wealth of 66 trillion yuan.

Hurun compared these 124 self-made female billionaire entrepreneurs with the top 124 self-made billionaire male entrepreneurs and made some findings.

  In terms of total wealth, the total wealth of the top 124 billion-dollar male entrepreneurs is 25 trillion yuan, 10 times that of female entrepreneurs, and the total wealth of female entrepreneurs is 2.3 trillion yuan.

In fact, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have more wealth than all billion-dollar female entrepreneurs combined.

  In terms of countries, among the top 124 male billionaire entrepreneurs, 36% are from the United States, 34% are from China, followed by Russia and India.

Among women entrepreneurs, China accounted for 63%, followed by the United States with 20% and the United Kingdom with 4%.

  In terms of industry, male entrepreneurs are more engaged in financial services and media industries, while female entrepreneurs are more engaged in healthcare and consumer goods industries.

  In terms of age, the average male entrepreneur is 66 years old, and the average female entrepreneur is 59 years old.
