In recent years, the price of rapeseed has been on the rise as a whole.
Data show that in late March, the purchase price of rapeseed in the main producing areas was 6,000-6,500 yuan/ton, an increase of 17%-27% compared with the purchase price of 5,100 yuan/ton in 2015.
The rise in rapeseed prices has brought about an increase in planting income, and farmers' enthusiasm for planting has increased significantly.
Zheng Zuting, an analyst at the National Grain and Oil Information Center, said that in the past three years, the planting area of rapeseed in my country has been increasing.
At present, most of the rapeseed in my country is in the flowering stage. If there is no extreme weather in the later period, the output of rapeseed in my country is expected to reach a new record high in 2022, and the output is expected to reach more than 14.5 million tons.
"Rapeseeds in my country are all used for oil extraction and consumption. Among them, domestic rapeseeds are mainly used for the production of small pressed coriander oil, with an average annual crushing volume of about 13 million tons." Zheng Zuting introduced that the import volume has shown a downward trend. The average annual import volume of rapeseed in the three years was 2.83 million tons, which was significantly lower than the 2014-2018 average of 4.51 million tons.
"In the future, with the vigorous development of winter idle fields, the promotion of rice rotation, and the expansion of southern winter rapeseed, the planting area and yield of rapeseed will continue to grow. By 2025, the planting area of rapeseed in my country is expected to reach about 120 million mu, and the output will reach 1,800. 10,000 tons." Zheng Zuting said.
