The Investopia Investment Summit, launched by the UAE government in partnership with the World Government Summit Foundation, announced that it will be the first economic summit hosted in the digital space "Metaverse".
The "Investopia Investment Summit" revealed that the Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, will hold the first economic press conference via the digital space "Metaverse", during the day of the summit, so that media professionals can enter this virtual world and ask questions.
Al-Marri said: "I am pleased to see (Investopia Summit) in the digital space (Metaverse), and to hold the first economic press conference in this space," pointing out that the vision of "Investopia" revolves around the future economy, at a time when the experience of "Metaverse" comes. In the same context, it enriches the summit's discussions about technical developments in the world and their impact on the economy and investment.
The Investopia Summit is one of the main initiatives within the “50 projects” announced by the UAE government in September 2021, bringing together leaders of governments, non-governmental organizations, representatives of the private sector, investment banks, family businesses, investment funds, academic and research institutions, and investment offices from around the world, To unlock ideas, provide opportunities, and enable future investments.
The “World Government Summit 2022” also constitutes the inclusive platform for more than 30 global organizations, as it hosts in its special edition this year more than 4,000 participants from senior government officials, experts and leaders of the private sector, to explore the future of governments in more than 110 main dialogue and interactive sessions, speaking It has more than 500 decision makers, thought leaders, and specialists from various vital sectors.
