　　In this regard, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Commerce held on the 24th, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shu Jueting said that the Ministry of Commerce attaches great importance to and pays close attention to the decline in the export volume of mobile phones, household appliances and other products.

　　"At present, the situation facing my country's foreign trade development is still complex and severe. First, the impact of the epidemic is still ongoing. The bottleneck of the global supply chain has not yet eased, and the shortage of important raw materials such as chips continues to plague foreign trade companies. Recently, the local cluster epidemics across the country have shown many points and wide areas. , the characteristics of frequent occurrence, the foreign trade industry chain and supply chain have been affected to a certain extent. Second, overseas epidemic control measures are gradually relaxed, residents' "stay at home" time is reduced, and the demand for some "home economy" products is correspondingly reduced. Third, the recent high geopolitical risks, Commodity prices have risen, global economic and trade recovery is facing greater uncertainty, and overseas consumer confidence has been hit."

　　Shu Jueting said that at the same time, it should be noted that my country's foreign trade industry has a solid foundation, and the industrial chain and supply chain are resilient.

In the first two months of this year, my country's total import and export value was 6.2 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%, of which exports increased by 13.6%, basically achieving a stable opening.

We are confident that, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and with the joint efforts of all localities, departments and foreign trade enterprises, we will maintain the annual foreign trade operation within a reasonable range.
