The Narita Airport Company has reviewed its support for airlines, saying that domestic demand is on a recovery trend, and has decided to request payment of landing fees, which have been fully exempted so far, at a fixed rate from next month.

The Narita Airport Company is fully exempt from landing fees for domestic passenger flights only, in order to support airlines that continue to be difficult to operate due to the influence of the new Corona.

We have been considering whether to continue this support from next month onward, but as demand for domestic flights is on a recovery trend, we have decided to reduce the scale of support and resume landing fee collection.

The amount to be collected is

▽ two-thirds for major routes such as Kansai, New Chitose, and Fukuoka

▽ one-fifth for other routes.

On the other hand, as for international passenger flights, there is no prospect of recovery, and we will continue to support the exemption by about 30% as before.

In addition, support for stores in the airport, such as a reduction in rent, will be extended for half a year and will continue until September, and the Narita Airport Company will announce a new policy on the 24th.
