The activist shareholder Enkraft completes the agenda for the next RWE general meeting.

In the supplement, Enkraft proposes the decision to split off the lignite more quickly.

RWE has published the relevant document.

"With the proposed resolution, all investors have the opportunity to vote on the future of RWE's lignite business," said Enkraft Managing Director Benedikt Kormaier.

RWE has long since decided to split off the lignite.

It is incomprehensible why the Executive Board and Supervisory Board of RWE have not yet drawn up and communicated a plausible plan for an early separation of the lignite activities, it says in the justification for the supplement.

"Our concern is to phase out lignite in agreement with politicians and after weighing up all interests in an orderly process," said RWE CEO Markus Krebber in an interview with the FAZ in January.

A company cannot simply ignore topics such as security of supply, employee security and the impact on the regions.
