In the collective bargaining dispute in the airport security industry, the Verdi union is calling for an almost nationwide warning strike.

On Tuesday, the inspectors at the airports in Frankfurt, Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn are to stop working all day, as the union in Berlin announced.

In the past week, the collective bargaining talks, which were also accompanied by warning strikes, remained without result, and a new negotiation date has been agreed for Thursday.

Among other things, Verdi is calling for the hourly wage for aviation security services to be increased by at least one euro per hour and wages to be adjusted regionally.
