  The reporter learned that the Yangjia Sauce Condiment Factory in Pidu District, Chengdu is mainly engaged in the production of bean paste. The production wastewater and domestic wastewater produced are treated by the sewage treatment station built by the factory and then discharged into the Tianshiyan branch canal outside the factory.

On November 24, 2021, law enforcement officers of the Chengdu Ecological Environment Bureau inspected the factory.

  Through the on-site sampling and testing of the total waste water outlet of the plant, it was found that the five-day biochemical oxygen demand concentration, chemical oxygen demand concentration and total phosphorus concentration in the waste water discharged from the plant exceeded the specified discharge standard limit, exceeding the standard by 6.9 times and 6.9 times respectively. 3.42 times and 1.55 times.

The Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment imposed a fine of 397,800 yuan on the factory in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
