Especially during the supply period last winter and this spring and winter, the daily output of natural gas in the Tarim Oilfield has climbed to a new high and remained at a high level of 100 million cubic meters.
According to reports, 300 billion cubic meters of natural gas is equivalent to replacing 400 million tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 426 million tons, benefiting about 400 million residents in 15 provinces.
As one of the main gas sources of the West-East Gas Pipeline, Tarim Oilfield has been advancing into ultra-deep and complex fields, challenging world-class exploration and development problems such as ultra-deep, ultra-high temperature, and ultra-high pressure, and has made every effort to improve the ability to ensure natural gas supply, and has built a comprehensive construction of 30 billion cubic meters rice area.
In 2021, the oil and gas production equivalent will reach 31.82 million tons, of which natural gas production will reach 31.9 billion cubic meters, achieving a growth of over one million tons for five consecutive years.
