This is the first RCEP certificate of origin issued by Guangdong to Malaysia after RCEP came into effect in Malaysia.

  Zhanjiang City is the largest golden pomfret breeding base in China. In 2021, it was awarded the "Golden Pomfret Capital of China" by the China Aquatic Products Circulation and Processing Association, with an annual output of 100,000 tons, accounting for about 85% of Guangdong Province and 50% of China's. In 2021, Zhanjiang enterprises will export more than 10,000 tons of golden pomfret.

The total output value of Zhanjiang golden pomfret industry is 10 billion yuan.

As the first company in Guangdong to enjoy the tax benefits of Malaysia under the RCEP agreement, the company has this certificate of origin, and the tariff rate paid by the goods after arriving in Malaysia has been reduced from 10% to zero tariff. .

With the help of the RCEP certificate of origin, the expansion of emerging markets such as ASEAN countries is more confident.

  On January 1 this year, the RCEP has entered into force for 10 member countries including China, including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. It will take effect on February 1 for South Korea.

The addition of Malaysia as an effective country this time will further deepen the international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific industrial chain and supply chain including China and Malaysia, and continuously improve the level of intra-regional trade and investment cooperation.
