Wang Hansheng suggested that free-range farmers go to "sugar farmers" -- find those large-scale breeding enterprises, and sell their free-range pigs to them according to their breeding standards.

Ling Xiaode, a senior consultant of the farm, told reporters that this modern pig farm covering an area of 1,000 mu will be completed in 2021. At present, the annual output of live pigs has reached 50,000, and it can be expanded to 100,000 after reaching production. Among the land area, Guangguoyuan occupies 700 mu.
Different from the traditional way of raising pigs, the pigs on the Nordic farms are all raised in these high-rise buildings, and elevators are required to go up and down the stairs.

All pig farms are equipped with video surveillance systems, and the condition of each pig house can be clearly seen in the hall.

At present, the pig buildings used in the industry are generally 2 to 4 floors, and there are also 5 to 6 floors, and the highest has reached 17 floors.
According to the past bungalow pig breeding model, a pig farm with a scale of 10,000 pigs needs an area of about 300 mu; today, a pig farm with a scale of 100,000 pigs has an area of only 300 acres through the high-rise model, and the land is intensive. The utilization efficiency has been improved by 10 times.
Second, prevent diseases such as African swine fever as much as possible.
He said that if pigs live on the ground for a long time, the virus can spread easily.

The Guangzhou Jinnong Modern Ecological Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Integrated Industrial Base located in Zengcheng has also tried the "high-rise pig raising" model two years ago.
The reporter saw at the pig breeding base that many pigs live in several brand-new buildings about 10 stories high.
The whole pig farm is clean and tidy, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, and it looks like a garden pasture.
According to Meng Xiaoyun, general manager of Guangzhou Jinnong Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd., the base currently has 7,000 sows and a total of 70,000 live pigs.
It will be 100% put into operation in July 2022, with a total investment of more than 1.3 billion yuan.
By then, 300,000 live pigs are expected to be slaughtered every year.

Lu Liming, general manager of Heshan Green Lake Bio-Energy Co., Ltd., said: "These buildings are equipment for the recycling of organic wastes. We separate the pig manure from the farm from wet and dry, and then make biogas to generate electricity. Wang Hansheng said that this model can greatly improve the efficiency of large-scale pig breeding in Guangzhou and achieve high-quality development of the pig breeding industry.
