He added, during a press meeting held at the headquarters of the "cooperative" yesterday, that the launch of the Ramadan discount initiative, which will be launched through the campaign: "Your Ramadan and Yana", will take place in all sales outlets and through the electronic platform, a week before the beginning of the next month of Ramadan.

He revealed that the Sharjah Cooperative will offer during the Ramadan season four types of Ramadan baskets, at prices: 49, 99, 199 and 399 dirhams, and they contain various items with a discount rate of more than 50%, pointing out that the baskets include basic commodities such as rice, sugar, flour, and oils, and juices.

Al-Junaid stressed that the launch of the discount offers before and during the month of Ramadan came to reduce the burdens on citizens and residents, by obtaining Ramadan supplies at low prices, through 47 outlets across Sharjah.

early readiness

He said that the "co-op" worked within early preparation plans for the month of Ramadan, to provide a sufficient stock of basic food commodities that will be offered within the Ramadan offers, noting that a number of commodities will be offered in bulk, with the aim of providing them as much as possible, and at the lowest prices, for the largest number of shoppers.

He stressed the absence of any concerns related to the lack of any food or basic commodities throughout or after the holy month, affected by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, in light of the availability of many alternatives to supply locally or from foreign markets.

With regard to community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, Al-Junaid said that the "Sharjah Cooperative" began in coordination with institutions and charitable bodies in the country, distributing the "Ramadan Meer", in the form of various food baskets.
