Wonder Bakery Industrial Company has opened a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility valued at AED 50 million in Dubai Industrial City.
The new facility will produce up to 50,000 tons annually of fresh and frozen bakery products, and hot and cold cooking products, to be distributed to food companies in the country and the region, which is a new achievement for the food and beverage manufacturing sector in Dubai Industrial City.
The 62,000-square-foot facility within the warehouses of Dubai Industrial City will create 350 new job opportunities, contributing to economic growth and job opportunities in the region.

The Director-General of Dubai Industrial City, Saud Abu Al Shawareb, said that focusing on local food production is a major priority for the government to achieve self-sufficiency, and to prepare in advance for any challenges that may face the supply chain for the future.

According to the statement, Wonder Bakery currently supplies its products to hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, airlines and other food and beverage companies.
The company will also continue investing in new equipment and infrastructure over the next two years to expand exports to nearly 25 countries across the GCC, UK, North America and Asia Pacific.
