On the 15th, Xu Qing, deputy director of the Transportation Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said at a press conference that recently, in order to ease the pressure on Shanghai's epidemic prevention and control, it has been decided by the State Council's joint prevention and control mechanism. From 21st to May 1st, some inbound international passenger flights from Shanghai will be adjusted.

A total of 22 routes are involved in 5 airlines including Air China, China Eastern, Shanghai Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, and Spring Airlines, with a total of 106 flights.

The entry points of the above-mentioned flights will be transferred from Shanghai Pudong Airport to 12 port airports including Chengdu, Dalian, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Jinan, Kunming, Nanchang, Ningbo, Xiamen, Taiyuan, Changsha, and Chongqing.

Relevant airlines have been required to inform passengers who have purchased tickets of route changes in a timely manner to protect consumer rights.
