The ID.Buzz had been expected since 2017, when it was presented as a concept car.

Through teasing, Volkswagen has managed to create great curiosity for this vehicle which is defined as the worthy descendant of the Transporter van born in 1950.

More compact than the current T7, the ID.Buzz benefits from a large wheelbase which promotes interior space.

Currently available in a 3-seater “Cargo” utility version and in a 5-seater version dedicated to transporting people, the van benefits from a passenger compartment whose design is inspired by that of the other models in the ID electric range.

For the moment, a single engine of 204 hp and 310 Nm is offered, and it is associated with the large 77 kWh battery which gives a range of 450 km.

The aerodynamics of the ID.Buzz have been particularly studied with a Cd of 0.28, a very correct value for a vehicle of this type.

Limited to a maximum speed of 145 km/h, it accepts a charging power of 170 kW in direct current, allowing it to go from 5 to 80% charge level in 30 minutes.

The first deliveries will begin next September.
