Selling a villa for 57 million dirhams in the Palm

Real estate transactions in Dubai achieved the best weekly performance since the beginning of the year, reaching more than 13.4 billion dirhams, according to data from the Dubai Land Department.

Last week witnessed strong sales of luxury villas, as a villa worth 57 million dirhams was sold in the Palm Jumeirah area.

In detail, the transactions recorded 1,787 pledges of allegiance, worth 5.38 billion dirhams, of which 245 pledged allegiance to lands, with a value of 2.09 billion dirhams, and 1542 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, with a value of 3.29 billion dirhams.

The most important land sales came at a value of 198 million dirhams in the second commercial center area, followed by a pledge of 160 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 75 million dirhams in the fourth Al-Thaniya area.

Al-Markadh region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 74 pledges worth 790 million dirhams, followed by Al-Habiya Fifth with 53 pledges of 114 million dirhams, and the third in Wadi Al-Safa 5 with 33 pledges of 170 million dirhams.

As for the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 57 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area came as the most important pledge, followed by a pledge of 48 million dirhams in the Al-Markadh area, and finally a pledge of 43 million dirhams in the second Jumeirah area.

The Dubai Marina area topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, with 139 pledges worth 400 million dirhams, followed by Al-Barsha South Fourth area, with 136 pledges, worth 97 million dirhams, and third in Al-Wasl, with 122 pledges, worth 287 million dirhams.

Mortgages amounted to 3.83 billion dirhams, including 64 mortgages of land, worth 1.65 billion dirhams, and 337 mortgages of villas and apartments, worth 2.18 billion dirhams.

As for donations, 145 donations worth 4.21 billion dirhams were registered, the most important of which were in the Mankhool area with a value of 750 million dirhams, and another in the First Trade Center area with a value of 444 million dirhams.
