Zhongxin Finance, March 10. In recent years, mini household appliances have become more and more popular.

The Jiangsu Provincial Consumer Protection Committee recently launched a comparison test of mini-small household appliances, including rice cookers, electric ovens, electric kettles, and washing machines.

After inspection, 2 of the 13 rice cooker samples did not meet the relevant requirements.

The Jiangsu Provincial Consumer Protection Committee stated that the total number of batches of comparative test samples was 50 batches, of which 45 batches were purchased on the online platform and 5 batches were purchased offline.

It involves Mijia, Haier, Xiaoxiong, Joyoung, Supor and other brands. The testing items include safety and performance.

All safety tests passed

After testing, in terms of safety, markings and instructions for 50 samples, protection against access to live parts, input power and current, structure, internal wiring, components, power connections and external cords, grounding measures, electrical clearances and creepage distances, Both heat resistance and flame resistance meet the corresponding standard requirements.

2 rice cookers fail to keep warm

In terms of performance testing, the actual volume deviation of the rice cooker is an indicator that consumers pay attention to when using it. It has a practical guiding effect on the reasonable use expected by consumers. Puzzled.

The standard requires that the actual volume of the cooking vessel should not be less than 95% of the rated volume.

After testing, the actual volume deviation of 13 rice cooker samples complies with the relevant requirements of QB/T 4099-2010 (2017).

The anti-stickiness, heat preservation energy consumption, standby energy consumption, and cooking uniformity of the 13 rice cooker samples were tested and all met the relevant requirements.

2 out of 13 rice cooker samples did not meet the relevant requirements of QB/T 4099-2010 (2017).

The standard requires that for appliances with cooking rice and heat preservation function, the heat preservation temperature should be within the range of 65 ℃ ~ 80 ℃, the temperature is too low to meet the needs of consumers, and the temperature is too high will cause energy waste.

In this comparison test, there is a rice cooker with a maximum insulation temperature of 87.1 °C, and a rice cooker with a minimum insulation temperature of 52.8 °C.

The details of the test are shown in the table below.

The standby power consumption of 1 electric oven sample is unqualified

The performance of operating parts, timer control performance, heating time, and shutdown power consumption of the 13 electric oven sample appliances all meet the relevant requirements.

There is an electric oven sample whose standby power consumption does not meet the relevant requirements of QB/T 4506-2013, and the result is 1.84W.

Standby power consumption refers to the energy consumption of a product with a standby function (timer switch, smart switch, etc.) when it is turned off or does not perform its original function.

Therefore, it is necessary to limit the standby power consumption of the product, which will save a lot of energy resources.

The details of the test are shown in the table below.

For appliances with standby function without display, the standby power consumption shall not exceed 0.5W.

For appliances with a standby function and display, the standby power consumption shall not exceed 1.0W.

8 electric kettles with unqualified time for boiling water and power outage

The sample volume deviation of the 13 electric kettles tested this time, the boiling water power-off temperature, the water outlet performance of the spout, and the thermal efficiency all meet the relevant requirements.

There are 8 models whose boiling water power-off time does not meet the requirements of the QB/T 22089-2008 standard.

Boiling water can kill bacteria and remove substances that are harmful to the human body. However, boiling water for too long will cause water aging, which will not only cause the loss of minerals that are beneficial to the human body, but also may produce certain harmful substances such as nitrite. It is not conducive to human health, so when the water boils, the power supply should be cut off within the specified time.

The temperature control device of the electric kettle should cut off the power supply within the following times:

  -25s, when the rated power of the electric kettle is greater than 1500W;

-30s, when the rated power of the electric kettle is less than or equal to 1500W.

The results of the boiling water power-off time test are as follows:

Jiangsu Provincial Consumer Protection Committee reminds consumers: choose regular channels to buy.

Consumers should try their best to choose regular channels to buy regular brands of mini home appliances, and pay attention to check whether the product's trademark, name, specifications, implementation standards, manufacturer or distributor name, address, contact information and other information are complete, and carefully check before purchasing. The quality of the goods, after purchase, pay attention to keep shopping vouchers such as shopping invoices, receipts, etc., and keep the warranty card to provide relevant basis for after-sales service and rights and interests maintenance.

Try to buy products that are labeled as safe for food contact materials.

If there are metal parts in electric ovens, electric kettles and rice cookers that are in direct contact with food, you should try to choose products that are marked with the material of the parts and meet the corresponding standards when purchasing.

The corresponding national mandatory standards are: (1) GB 4806.1-2016 "National Food Safety Standard Food Contact Materials and Products General Safety Requirements"; (2) GB 4806.9-2016 "Food Safety National Standard Food Contact Metal Materials and Products" .

  Buy according to actual needs.

Consumers should analyze specific problems when purchasing mini home appliances, and clarify their specific needs. They should not trust the one-sided words of manufacturers, so as not to buy back inappropriate products. Because the capacity or specifications of mini home appliances are low, they should The size of the family population chooses the appropriate small home appliances, and according to their own economic conditions, time arrangements, and other specific needs to buy mini small home appliances with different functions.
