On March 9, CRRC Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. (referred to as "CRRC Tangshan"), led by CRRC Corporation Limited (referred to as "CRRC") as a consortium, undertook the S1 line of Taizhou Municipal Railway in Zhejiang Province The first phase of the PPP project - a new 140 km/h urban EMU rolled off the assembly line in Tangshan, Hebei.
It is understood that the first phase project of Taizhou City Railway S1 Line is the first domestic railway project that adopts the PPP model and has been implemented. There are 15 stations on the entire line, including 7 underground stations and 8 elevated stations. CRRC Tangshan is also responsible for the development. 31 new urban EMUs with a speed of 140 kilometers per hour.
According to the introduction of CRRC Tangshan Co., Ltd., Taizhou Metropolitan Railway S1 EMU is a municipal railway vehicle specially developed by CRRC Tangshan Co., Ltd. to adapt to Taizhou's climate, human geographical environment and line technical conditions.
The train is a 2-moving 2-pulling 4-car marshalling D-type EMU in the city, with a maximum passenger capacity of 1,045 people. It has the characteristics of light weight, high temperature resistance, quick start, and comfortable ride.
