The five-star luxury hotel rooms accounted for 34% of the total size of the hotel market in Dubai, registering 47,200 hotel rooms within 143 hotel establishments, followed by the four-star hotel rooms by 29%, registering 40,573 Hotel rooms within 183 properties.

For its part, hotels classified between three and one star accounted for about 18% of the total hotel market size, with a capacity of 25,649 hotel rooms within 245 hotel facilities.

The number of medium and luxury hotel apartment facilities reached 188, comprising 25,189 apartments, with hotel apartments acquiring 19% of the total hotel capacity in Dubai, while the occupancy rate in all hotel establishments in the emirate during January of this year was 69%.
