  Separating the male and female crabs caught from the crab pond and raising the male and female crabs separately can reduce the fighting between the crabs and ensure its survival rate.

  [Explanation] Crab seedlings are generally placed between January and March, and February is the peak period for crab seedlings.

A Yangcheng Lake hairy crab, from the big-eyed larvae when it was first introduced, to the now coin-sized button crab, to the adult crab with double harvest in September and October, requires more than a year of careful breeding.

  In Bacheng, 1,000 to 1,200 per mu are generally put in, and the catch rate is about 60%. Generally, the size of the crabs grown is more than 4 taels for male crabs and more than 3 taels for female crabs, so the yield per mu is about 250 jin. .
