Abu Dhabi National Insurance launches a program to train and employ Emiratis

The Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company announced the launch of the “My Potential” training program for UAE nationals, with the aim of recruiting and training young national competencies in the company’s “underwriting department,” as part of the company’s Emiratisation strategy.

In a statement, the company stated that the new training program is in line with the integrated federal "NAFES" program, which aims to raise the competitive efficiency of national cadres, and enable them to occupy distinguished jobs in the private sector institutions in the country.

Abu Dhabi National Insurance confirmed that the program will focus on employing and developing Emirati competencies, and refining their capabilities in the field of underwriting and insurance work for individuals and companies, which opens the door for young citizens to become leaders in the insurance industry in the future.

Ahmed Idris, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company, said: "We rely on the best talents and competencies to meet the current and future expectations of the insurance industry, while our company is one of the most prominent supporters of federal and local endeavors and goals to build a diversified competitive economy based on knowledge and innovation."

According to the company, the first batch started its journey to develop its job skills as of March 1.
