As Russian troops begin their seventh day of offensive in Ukraine, fighting continues to rage in the country.
And this war also has economic consequences.
This is particularly the case in the wine sector, whose exports are directly impacted, which does not fail to worry French winegrowers.
This is one of the collateral effects of the conflict in Ukraine: wine exports to Russia and Ukraine have been in freefall since the end of last week and the start of the Russian military invasion.
At the Agricultural Show, many wine producers are worried about it, as Europe 1 noted on the stands of winegrowers.

The fall in exports to Ukraine and Russia is the main topic of discussion.
Thierry Motte is a producer of Chablis, he was to send an order for 45,000 euros this week.
But the pallets are still on his farm.
"For my company, Ukraine is a market of around 300,000 euros per year. So the impact will be direct. I have an order in progress which unfortunately will not leave and certainly in the next year or the next. years it will become enormously complicated. For us it is a market that is closing", he slices.
An impact on the price of raw materials
The Russian market is also important for producers.
Every year, 198 million euros worth of wine is exported to Russia.
So inevitably, Jean-Marie Favre, president of the independent winegrowers, is also worried about the soaring prices of raw materials, which directly impacts producers.

To cope with these economic consequences, the sector is therefore calling for a boost from the government for the companies most affected.
