Zhongxin Finance, March 2. On the 2nd, in response to the needs of urban "new citizens" children to go to school, rent and buy houses, Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, said at a press conference that a document will be issued soon to be submitted to banking and insurance institutions. It is recommended to serve these "new citizens".

Guo Shuqing pointed out that the so-called "new citizens" are those who have already lived in cities and towns but do not have a household registration; or those who have just obtained their household registration for less than two or three years.

There are about 300 million people in this population, and they are all faced with real needs such as living and working in peace and contentment, employment and entrepreneurship, renting and buying a house, children going to school, and elderly care for the elderly.

"We learned through investigation that because these people leave the countryside, there is no definite job position, some are self-employed industrial and commercial households, and some are migrant workers. According to statistics from market institutions, migrant workers work in a unit or a position for about half a year on average. They go to the bank to apply for a loan, and the bank will ask for proof of income from the unit, which is obviously difficult for them. In addition, there is the problem of children going to school.” Guo Shuqing said.

Guo Shuqing said that a special document will be issued to make recommendations to banking and insurance institutions to provide services to these "new citizens". In fact, this is also part of the broad "three rural" services.

There are other aspects as well. The aforementioned small and micro enterprises, rural revitalization, technological innovation, and green development are all our weak links, and they all require our continued financial support.

Of course, we generally follow the principles of marketization and commercialization.
