The new hybrid mechanics of the Juke consists first of a Nissan gasoline engine of 94 hp and 148 Nm. On the electrical side, the powertrain develops 49 hp and 205 Nm, while Renault provides the high voltage hp, the inverter and the 1.2 kWh water-cooled battery, as well as its clutchless gearbox.

The result is 25% more power than the Juke's current petrol engine, with fuel consumption reduced by up to 40% in the urban cycle, and up to 20% in the combined cycle.

For urban driving, the Nissan has the e-Pedal function which, thanks to the force of electric recovery in the deceleration phase, makes it possible to dispense with the brake pedal in many cases.

Because of the battery, the trunk lost 68 liters, so its volume increased to 354 liters.

The commercialization of the hybrid Juke is planned for the summer.
