According to the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, recently, Beijing New Oriental Xuncheng Network Technology Co., Ltd. was arrested by the Beijing Haidian District Market for allegedly using false or misleading price methods to lure consumers into transactions. The Supervision and Administration Bureau fined 400,000 yuan.
The specific reason is that the party entrusted a company to publish the advertisement of "New Oriental - 1 Yuan IELTS Course", saying that the original price of 399 yuan is only 1 yuan for the excellent course.
After verification, the original price of the above-mentioned products of 399 yuan has never been actually sold, and there is no relevant sales record, nor is it marked on the sales page.
