New increases of up to 30 fils in gasoline prices during March

Yesterday, websites for fuel distribution companies reported that the prices of gasoline and its derivatives “Super 98”, “Special 95” and “I Plus 91” recorded new increases in their indicators as of (today), corresponding to the first of March, with a value ranging between 29 And 30 fils per liter, while the price of a liter of diesel increased by 31 fils, compared to the prices of last February, according to the prices approved by the Follow-up Committee on fuel prices of all kinds, including value-added tax at 5%.

The increases in fuel prices come for the second month in a row. Gasoline prices rose in February by a value of 29 fils per liter, and an increase of 32 fils per liter of diesel.

The price of a liter of “Super 98” gasoline, as of today, increased from 2.94 dirhams to 3.23 dirhams, an increase of 29 fils, while the price of a liter of “Special 95” gasoline rose from 2.82 dirhams, to 3.12 dirhams, an increase of 30 fils, and the price of A liter of gasoline «A Plus 91» from 2.75 dirhams to 3.05 dirhams, an increase of 30 fils.

The price of a liter of diesel rose from 2.88 dirhams per liter to 3.19 dirhams, an increase of 31 fils.

It is noteworthy that the fuel price standards adopted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry are determined on a monthly basis, according to the average world oil prices, up or down, after adding the operating costs of the distribution companies.
