China News Service, March 1 (Reporter Liu Liang) One month after the re-imposition of fuel surcharges, domestic airline fuel surcharges were adjusted again.

The reporter learned from the Qunar platform that Beibu Gulf Airlines, Guilin Airlines, China United Airlines, Qingdao Airlines and other domestic airlines will adjust the fuel surcharge collection standards for domestic passenger transportation from March 5th.

The Qunar platform said that it has received the notification from the above-mentioned airlines.

According to reports, the fuel surcharge standard for domestic routes after the adjustment on March 5 (the date of ticket issuance) is: adult passengers: each passenger will be charged a fuel surcharge of 20 yuan for routes below 800 kilometers (inclusive), and for routes above 800 kilometers. Each passenger is charged 40 yuan.

According to the adjustment of the fuel surcharge, the cost of domestic travel taxes and fees will start from 70 yuan, excluding the case where domestic aircraft are exempt from infrastructure fees.

For most routes of more than 800 kilometers, the airport construction fee plus fuel cost will reach 90 yuan.

What if a passenger buys a ticket before the notification takes effect and then changes it?

According to the person in charge of the ticket business of Qunar, if a passenger buys a ticket for a trip on March 10 before March 5, even if the passenger changes the ticket on March 9, he only needs to pay the rebooking fee according to the regulations of the airline. Fuel surcharges apply.

Lan Xiang, dean of the Qunar Big Data Research Institute, analyzed that the fuel surcharge adjustment was due to the rise in oil prices, and the average revenue per passenger would increase by about 14 yuan.

For airlines, the length of routes varies, and the proportion of long-distance routes is slightly higher, which reduces the cost caused by the increase in jet fuel prices to a certain extent.
