At the same time, Anhui invested US$360 million in countries along the “Belt and Road”, an increase of over 40%; the actual use of funds from countries along the “Belt and Road” was US$640 million, an increase of nearly 80%.
Specifically, in 2021, the top three countries in Anhui's import and export volume are India, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
Among them, Anhui's import and export to India was 3.38 billion US dollars, an increase of 77%.
The main export commodities to India are computers, solar cells, transformers, liquid crystal display panels, etc.; the main import commodities from India are menthol, cotton, sesame and so on.
In terms of foreign investment, Anhui's main investment funds in 2021 will flow to Singapore, Uzbekistan and Indonesia.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, in 2021, Anhui will strengthen policy support, guide enterprises to speed up the optimization of industrial layout, strengthen investment and trade cooperation, standardize overseas business behavior, and comprehensively expand the markets of countries along the “Belt and Road”.
At the same time, actively organize enterprises to participate in economic and trade docking activities such as the World Manufacturing Conference, the China International Import Expo, the Central and Eastern Europe Expo, and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo.
Cooperate with Invest Hong Kong SAR and ASEAN Center to carry out two-way investment promotion activities to help enterprises use the Hong Kong platform to expand cooperation between Anhui and ASEAN countries.
Promote key projects, organize special training on policies and business, optimize and upgrade the "Anhui Province Going Out Public Service Platform", and provide one-stop, intelligent public services for enterprises to participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road".
In the next step, Anhui will focus on international production capacity cooperation, encourage enterprises to participate in the "Belt and Road" construction, expand new fields such as health, green, digital, and technological cooperation, and expand two-way trade and investment.
Guide advantageous enterprises in industries such as building materials, home appliances, construction machinery, agriculture, resources and energy to expand foreign investment and cooperation, make better use of overseas markets and resources, help enterprises become bigger and stronger, and cultivate new growth points for international cooperation.
In addition, accelerate the implementation of major projects such as JAC Group's Kazakhstan Automobile Industrial Park; establish a "small and beautiful" project implementation list, and strive to create "small and beautiful" project cooperation.
