Egypt raises Suez Canal transit fees
The Egyptian Suez Canal Authority announced the imposition of additional fees on ships transiting the canal, amounting to 10%, starting from the 1st of next March.

The authority added in a series of circulars that the decision comes in line with the remarkable growth in global trade, the improvement of ship economies, the development of the navigation course and the transit service of the Suez Canal.
