On a field tour of a number of fuel distribution stations, "Emirates Today" observed a remarkable increase in the turnout of cars to refuel at various stations, which caused a state of congestion and queuing of cars outside some stations.

And the websites of fuel distribution companies had announced today that the prices of gasoline and its derivatives “Super 98”, “Special 95” and “I Plus 91” recorded new increases in their indicators, starting from the first of next March, with a value ranging between 29 and 30 A fil per liter, while the price of a liter of diesel recorded an increase of 31 fils compared to the prices of the month of February, according to the prices approved by the Follow-up Committee on Fuel Prices of all kinds, including value-added tax at 5%.

The fuel price increases come for the second month in a row. Gasoline prices rose during February, with a value of 29 fils per liter, and an increase of 32 fils per liter of diesel.

The price of a liter of “Super 98” gasoline, as of the beginning of March, increased from 2.94 dirhams previously, to 3.23 dirhams, an increase of 29 fils, while the price of a liter of “Special 95” gasoline increased from 2.82 dirhams, to 3.12 dirhams. An increase of 30 fils, while the price of a liter of gasoline "I Plus 91" increased from 2.75 dirhams to 3.05 dirhams, an increase of 30 fils.

The price of a liter of diesel rose from 2.88 dirhams per liter previously to 3.19 dirhams, an increase of 31 fils.
