  What's new

After a day's work, Tang Jinhua from Xinma Village, Yuantan Town, Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province happily rode the "little electric donkey" and returned to the village from his work place in less than 10 minutes.

The village is paved with asphalt roads, and smart street lights with light sensors and LCD screens are installed on both sides of the road. It is spacious and bright, and a group of children are playing under the lights.

Tang Jinhua, who returned to live in the village last year, is attracted by the charging piles in the village every day when he commutes to get off work.

There are 6 sets of 40 kW DC fast charging piles and 10 sets of 7 kW AC piles. The combination of fast charging and slow charging provides charging service guarantee for tourist buses, passenger buses, and private cars.

His neighbors have also installed rooftop photovoltaics.

Speaking of rooftop photovoltaics, Yang Zhenxian, Secretary of the Party Branch of Xinma Village, said: "The photovoltaic project on the roof of the village committee was the first to be built, and it has become a 'sightseeing check-in place' for the villagers. The villagers come to see and feel the photovoltaic panels. Yang Zhenxian said that at first, the villagers did not accept the "new thing" of rooftop photovoltaics. Through publicity and personal experience, the villagers not only scramble to install, but also understand what green energy is through rooftop photovoltaics, and have a positive impact on carbon neutrality. and have a preliminary understanding.

Today, looking out from the roof of the Xinma Village Village Committee, there are rows and rows of rooftop photovoltaics, which are quite large.

"After many investigations, we found that the most useful resource in Xinma Village is light." Zhu Zhigang, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Qingyuan Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, said that in terms of rural revitalization and new energy utilization, as a power grid enterprise, they have been After thinking about how to change the rural energy consumption structure without occupying land resources and making full use of the existing farm houses, they finally decided to jointly promote the rooftop photovoltaic project in Xinma Village.

The construction of rooftop photovoltaic projects in Xinma Village is mainly divided into two modes, one is self-construction and self-use, and the other is to rent out the roof.

The leasing method not only saves the cost of tens of thousands of yuan for self-built awnings, but also obtains an annual rental income of 5 yuan per square meter; and self-built photovoltaics can not only apply for subsidies, but also save electricity costs for their own use or enjoy benefits from selling electricity.

Villagers get benefits and investors can make money. These are benefits that can be seen and felt.

"Hundreds of dollars a year is nothing, the main reason is that the house is comfortable to live in." Villager Pan Cansen said that after the experience of the surrounding villagers, more than 20 rooftop photovoltaics have been built.

At present, 241 villagers in Xinma Village have signed contracts for rooftop photovoltaic projects, and more than 90% of them are leased.

Through rooftop photovoltaic construction, the village has generated social benefits of 21.3 million yuan and has become a demonstration site for integrated urban and rural energy in Guangdong Province.

During the Spring Festival this year, the electricity consumption of Xinma Village reached 99,600 kWh, a year-on-year increase of 9%, of which 20% came from the rooftop photovoltaics in the village that have just been connected to the grid.

"Every photovoltaic power source is a power generation point, which has brought about fundamental changes in the planning and construction of new rural power grids." Zhu Zhigang said that distributed photovoltaics have put forward new requirements for power grid operation and technical standards.

In 2022, Xinma Village will summarize the guidelines for the new rural distribution network, the standards of technical routes and the business model of rooftop photovoltaic construction, and build a leading comprehensive energy management platform in the country. At that time, new energy management will be visible, controllable and adjustable. , measurable, and provide a replicable and scalable power industry sample for serving the rural revitalization strategy.

In 2022, the photovoltaic power generation capacity of Xinmacun is expected to reach 3.38 million kWh, which can achieve carbon neutrality of the power supply in the Xinmacun area in the next 15 years.
