[Explanation] With the completion of the upgrade and reconstruction of the main channel of Xiamen Port, the navigability has been further improved, and the main channel boundary and water depth parameters of the old version of the routing system no longer match the "deep water channel".

In order to improve the efficiency of ship navigation, Xiamen Maritime Safety Administration has revised the "Ship Route System in Xiamen Waters" and its supporting "Ship Reporting System in Xiamen Waters", which will be officially implemented on March 1.

During peak periods in the past, large ships stayed on the waterway, which would cause congestion in the waterway and cause dangers such as collision and grounding of ships in the waterway. Left and right widened to about 640 meters.

  With the large-scale ships, there are more and more ships in Xiamen Port. Now, the throughput has reached the 13th in the world and the 7th in China. Therefore, the number of ships entering and leaving the port is also more. I can’t adapt to it. Some (ship) reporting systems started (implemented) in 2015 have also been running for a long time, some rules have also changed, and the scale of some waterways has also changed. This time, under the guidance of the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport We have revised accordingly.

  [Explanation] When ships enter and leave the port, they need to report the ship's navigation and other information with the maritime department through relevant equipment. After the channel has been widened, the newly revised "Ship Reporting System in Xiamen Waters" has also been improved to meet the needs of ships in Xiamen Port. Higher quality demands.

  Because of the increasing number of calls, with the increase in the number of ships, we used to have only one channel 8 (calling). After channel 8, the volume of calls is too large, and it will be crowded. Interjection (talk) in, which affects the quality of the call, and interferes with the ship traffic organization and command. After our new two systems come out this time, we will move the reporting point from Jiujiejiao to Qingyu, and then There is one channel in the port (calling), and one channel outside the port (calling). There are 8 channels in the port and 67 channels outside the port, which reduces the call volume by half.

  [Explanation] According to preliminary calculations, after the implementation of the new version of the ship reporting system and the ship routing system, the "sea expressway" in Xiamen waters will be fully accelerated. By improving the reporting line points and further regulating the navigation order, it can effectively prevent or reduce the environmental impact of ships. The risk of pollution or other damage to the marine environment due to collision, grounding or anchoring in or near sensitive areas, the risk of ship navigation safety will be further reduced.
