  It is understood that the train departed from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, carrying a total of 92 containers, loaded with 2,438 tons of potash fertilizer, and the value of the goods was 785,000 US dollars. It passed through Kazakhstan and China, and the destination was Japan.

  On February 14, 2021, since the official opening of China's first East Asia-Central Asia multimodal transport channel, a large number of Central Asian agricultural products have been distributed to other countries after entering China, expanding the connotation of the "Belt and Road" trade.

According to statistics from the railway department, this year, 5,442.5 tons of potash fertilizers, tractor cockpits and other agricultural products were imported through Horgos Port, which were sold to Heilongjiang, Jiangsu and other places in China, as well as Japan, Vietnam and other countries.

  Zhang Dan, head of Horgos Bobao International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., said that in order to ensure the demand for spring ploughing fertilizers at home and abroad, the company actively promotes the import business of potash fertilizers on the Central Asia train. After the potash fertilizer trains enter the country, the customs will implement rapid inspection of the goods. Let’s just say that this potash train will arrive in Lianyungang, Jiangsu in four or five days, and then arrive in Japan five days later by ship.

This year, the company plans to act as an agent to import 30,000 tons of potash fertilizer.

  According to Yang Jing, the third-level organizer of the third division of Horgos Customs Supervision, the customs implements 24-hour appointment-based customs clearance, and prioritizes the replacement of imported agricultural materials; Inspection, simplify chemical fertilizer inspection procedures, and ensure the rapid transit and release of spring farming materials.
