In recent days, the low temperature and freezing weather has continued to affect Guangxi, and there have been many heavy snowfalls.
Some power supply facilities in 79 power supply stations in Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County, Laibin City, Guangxi were shut down due to the disaster, affecting 2,684 households in 67 villages including Liuduan, Jiangjun, Yangliu, and Zhaibao.
China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Power Grid Company has successively deployed 98 emergency generators from all parts of the region and sent them to the affected villages in Yao Township to ensure the basic livelihood needs of villagers such as pumping water, cooking and lighting.
According to statistics, since January 27, affected by multiple rounds of cold waves, Guangxi Power Grid has accumulated 147 ice-covered lines, and currently 115 ice-covered lines.
As of 16:00 on February 22, Guangxi Power Grid had tripped 44 lines of 10 kV and above, and 21 lines have been restored; 69.9% of the power outage areas have been restored; 82.6% of power outage users have been restored.
Guangxi Power Grid Corporation carried out emergency response work such as emergency duty, equipment inspection and emergency repair of electricity, and completed 34 times of ice melting for 7 lines and 3 mechanical deicing times for 3 lines.
At present, Guangxi Power Grid maintains safe and stable operation.
