Recently, the YY live broadcast platform launched the "North-South Contest for New Years" activity, claiming that you can get cash rewards for doing tasks, but when the activity was nearing the end, a large number of users reported that the rewards in their accounts were difficult to withdraw, and they couldn't really withdraw if they couldn't get the "withdrawal quota". Reward, "China Consumer News" reporter launched an investigation.

Claiming to earn cash rewards for doing tasks

On January 22, the YY live broadcast platform launched the "North-South Competition for New Years" activity, which attracted many consumers to participate.

Ms. Wang, who lives in Yanji City, Jilin Province, told a reporter from China Consumer News: "On February 1, I learned about this event launched by the YY live broadcast platform during the Spring Festival while watching a short video, claiming that participating in the event will be rewarded by doing tasks. You can withdraw. Then I participated in the YY live broadcast platform and earned a reward of 1 yuan, but when I was about to withdraw, I found that the system requires a 7-day sign-in to withdraw.”

So, Ms. Wang began to do tasks: sign in every day, watch live broadcasts, follow anchors, add friends, answer questions, grab red envelopes, form a team to get points, collect cards and share red envelopes... Most of the tasks need to be done in time, and they are still in the evening. There is a group PK task, and sometimes it needs to be done at 11 o'clock in the evening. After a few days, she earned a total of 57.78 yuan.

Mr. Ma from Jinzhou, Liaoning decided to download the software after seeing the promotion of the event.

"From January 22nd to February 9th, I participated in this activity throughout the whole process. There are two phases. After signing in for 7 days, I can receive a red envelope of 10 yuan. In addition to earning from various tasks, I can generally earn more than 50 yuan to 70 yuan. Diversity varies. I made 53.62 yuan by myself, but I need to participate in the activity for 7 days before I can withdraw.” Mr. Ma said.

Reward withdrawals must grab the "withdrawal limit"

What Miss Ling Wang and Mr. Ma didn't expect was that cash withdrawal was the problem after earning more than 50 yuan from the task.

Miss Wang said that on February 8, when she went to the YY live broadcast platform to withdraw the cash rewards in her account, she found that she had to grab the corresponding "withdrawal quota" first.

The withdrawal quota is divided into 0.2 yuan, 0.8 yuan, 3 yuan, 8 yuan, 50 yuan, and 100 yuan. The share of each quota is limited, and you must grab enough quota before you can withdraw.

For example, Miss Wang earned 57.78 yuan, and she needs to grab a 50 yuan and an 8 yuan quota to withdraw all the rewards.

However, the withdrawal quotas of 3 yuan, 8 yuan and 50 yuan have been robbed that day, leaving only 0.2 yuan, 0.8 yuan and 100 yuan of withdrawal quotas, which means that she cannot make up the withdrawal quota of rewards in the account and cannot withdraw.

"You still have to grab a quota for withdrawals, and you have no knowledge when participating in the event." Ms. Wang told a reporter from "China Consumer News" that she consulted through the official customer service phone and online customer service of the YY live broadcast platform. The customer service staff replied that at 18:00 every day and There will be a wave of withdrawal activities at 24:00, each user is limited to one withdrawal per day, and this activity will end at 24:00 on February 9th.

So, Ms. Wang stuck at 18:00 on February 9 to grab the withdrawal quota, but the quota of 50 yuan still showed that "the number of withdrawals has been grabbed".

On February 10th, Miss Wang couldn't find the link of the "North-South Contest for New Year's Taste" activity on the YY live broadcast platform, so she asked the customer service about the withdrawal problem. problem consultation.

Miss Wang told a reporter from China Consumer Daily: "I knew that there would be so many thresholds for withdrawal, but I would never have participated. In the end, I didn't raise a cent."

In the end, Mr. Ma only withdrew 0.8 yuan. He said: "I tried to grab the 50 yuan withdrawal limit at the 18:00 and 24:00 card points many times, but it all showed that it had been robbed, and I didn't grab it once. 100 yuan The withdrawal limit has always been shown, but most people can't actually earn 100 yuan. I suspect that this is just a pretense. In the end, everyone can only choose to grab a relatively small amount such as 0.2 yuan and 0.8 yuan. The event ended on February 8th. After the 9th, the account balance will be cleared."

Mr. Ma tried to defend his rights. On February 9, he filed a complaint through the social network platform, but the problem was still not resolved.

  Activity withdrawal rules are vague

The reporter of "China Consumer News" found that there were 26 related complaints when searching the black cat complaint platform for the keyword "North and South compete for the taste of the year", all of which reflected problems such as the inability to withdraw cash.

The reporter of "China Consumer News" checked the official Weibo of YY's live broadcast. From January 21 to February 7, a total of more than 10 Weibo promoted the "North-South Competition for New Years" activity, of which only in January On the 22nd, the content of the event and related rules were introduced.

The promotional poster states "Deadline for withdrawal of bonuses and prizes: 24:00 on February 28" and "The event will be open until 24:00 on February 9, and it will expire after the expiration date. Each user can only apply for Alipay withdrawal or red diamond redemption once a day. ", etc., which does not explain the amount of cash withdrawals that need to be grabbed.

In response, a reporter from China Consumer News called the official customer service hotline of the YY live broadcast platform to inquire about the issue.

The customer service staff stated that the issuance of the "withdrawal limit" is subject to the display on the page at that time, and the platform will not set up barriers to withdrawals, and indicated how to deal with the money that has not been withdrawn due to expiration in the user's account, subject to subsequent official notices.

After several setbacks, a reporter from "China Consumer News" found instructions on the withdrawal of the event through the online customer service of the YY live broadcast platform. The second article of the clause states: "This platform will dynamically adjust the Alipay withdrawal displayed to different users according to the player's activity. The number of copies and quotas and the number of copies and quotas for YY activity red diamond exchange are subject to the final display on the user's withdrawal page." Article 3 shows: "Alipay cash withdrawal and activity red diamond exchange quotas are divided into multiple levels, and the specific level amounts. and the remaining number of copies will be adjusted according to the platform’s commercial revenue.” Article 4 shows: “The number of copies of the withdrawal amount is updated at 0:00 and 18:00 every day, on a first-come, first-served basis.”

A reporter from China Consumer Daily noted that the statement did not explicitly mention the limited number of daily withdrawals, nor the number of different daily withdrawals.

Ms. Wang and Mr. Ma said that they did not see this description when they participated in the activity, and there was no special reminder that the withdrawal reward needs to grab the "withdrawal quota".

Moreover, the withdrawal rules are format clauses unilaterally issued by the YY live broadcast platform, and the agreement to restrict withdrawals should be invalid, because the withdrawal rules are of great interest to consumers, and should be brought to the attention of consumers in a prominent way, but consumption The user did not see the special prompt, which is obviously unfair to consumers.

The "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Online Transactions" promulgated by the State Administration for Market Regulation stipulates that online transaction operators shall not conduct false marketing by falsely claiming to be spot goods, making false reservations, and falsely snapping up purchases.
