On February 21, Shenzhen, Guangdong, Dachan Bay, Mawan and Yantian Container Port Areas of Shenzhen Port opened a fast-track channel for water transportation of supplies to Hong Kong to ensure the supply of living materials for Hong Kong compatriots.

On the same day, the batch of materials shipped from Shenzhen Dachanwan Wharf, including vegetables, fruits, eggs, etc. for Hong Kong, totaled 26 TEUs, about 200 tons, equivalent to 30 trucks transported by land.

The batch of materials will be transported to Hong Kong's Modern Container Terminal by water and is expected to arrive at 23:00 on the same day.

Lin Haoyu, deputy director of the Port Supervision Office of Shenzhen Customs, said that in order to support the diversion of living materials supplied to Hong Kong from the water port, Shenzhen Customs adopted the "territory + port" collaborative supervision and arranged for the company coordinator to specialize in response to the time-sensitive characteristics of fresh and live commodities supplied to Hong Kong. Connect with vegetable companies that supply Hong Kong, set up a "green channel for supplying fresh and fresh products to Hong Kong", promote "zero waiting" for customs clearance, and realize the "next morning delivery" of fresh and fresh commodities supplied to Hong Kong every day, so as to ensure the safety and stability of "vegetable baskets" and "fruit baskets" of Hong Kong citizens.
