The territorial bank has just developed a new tool that allows local authorities to identify buildings to be renovated as a priority.

Called "Prioréno", this software equipped with artificial intelligence identifies thermal colanders based on gas and electricity consumption.

It is not just individuals that the State asks to carry out energy renovation work, there are also communities!

Better insulate windows, swap your fuel tank for a heat pump... All these actions that are good for the environment must also be in place in public buildings such as gymnasiums, schools or town halls.

But with 500,000 public buildings spread across France, it's hard to know where to start.

Identify thermal colanders using an algorithm

This is why the territorial bank, which is part of the deposit bank, has just developed a brand new tool.

Called "Prioréno", it is based on artificial intelligence to identify the buildings that need to be renovated as a priority thanks to an algorithm.

In concrete terms, the latter identifies thermal sieves based on gas and electricity consumption data.

"For elected officials and for the teams of local authorities, especially the smallest ones, sometimes they do not have the engineering or the sufficiently precise knowledge of the state of their heritage. And the fact of having this information is going to help them to identify which are the subjects to prioritize the most urgent work to be launched", specifies at the microphone of Europe 1 Costa Kastrinidis, of the bank of the territories.

A free service which should therefore allow communities to save several thousand euros by renovating the most energy-intensive buildings, but also and above all to improve the comfort of users.

Starting with children who attend gymnasiums and community buildings.
