“Ajman Chamber” diversifies its initiatives through the “Foras” and “Ishaar” platforms

During the year 2021, the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry implemented many programs and initiatives in support of developing the businesses and projects of its members from companies and factories, as well as intensifying direct communication channels, by launching the “Opportunities” and “Ishaaar” platforms, in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country. With the aim of consolidating joint cooperation between the Chamber and its members, to identify the opinions and suggestions of merchants and business owners, to ensure the enhancement of the competitiveness of the economic sector in the emirate, and to keep pace with the aspirations of the private sector.

The Executive Director of the Member Support and Innovation Sector at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nasser Al-Dhafri, confirmed that the Chamber launched during the year 2021, in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country, a platform “Opportunities” to develop exports and support local products, to provide a comprehensive database and information, aimed at increasing The volume of trade exchange, discovering potential opportunities for private sector enterprises, and benefiting from them to reach new markets, and opening channels of communication between business owners in the Emirate of Ajman and their counterparts from other countries, to conclude deals and the possibility of cooperation and partnership.

Al-Dhafri explained that the “Ajman Chamber” is keen to diversify its direct communication channels with its members from private establishments, as it launched, in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers, the “Ishaar” platform to monitor challenges and commercial issues of interest to its members at the local and federal levels, and then study them, and develop proposed solutions to them. In coordination with the competent authorities in the economic affairs, in order to protect and take care of the interests of the members.

For his part, Director of the Chamber's Member Relations and Support Department, Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, confirmed that the Ajman Chamber was keen to enhance the benefit of its members from companies and factories from (Expo 2020 Dubai), by adopting a permanent participation plan in the exhibition, and providing the opportunity for business owners to participate in the exhibition. The economic events organized in the exhibition, and the implementation of a hosting program for international economic delegations, with the aim of introducing the investment opportunities available in the Emirate of Ajman, highlighting the emirate's economic and commercial components, and holding bilateral meetings between traders and business owners from the Emirate of Ajman.He added that the Ajman Chamber adopted, during the past year, an intensive program of field visits, as more than 200 field visits were carried out for its members of the establishments, with the aim of enhancing direct communication, introducing the Chamber's services, supporting the business sector continuity, monitoring opinions and proposals, and standing up to the challenges of owners Businesses to provide solutions for them, in cooperation with government agencies concerned with economic affairs.
