The exhibition's work, which occupied 21 halls in the Dubai World Trade Center, was recorded in the presence of more than 4,000 companies from 120 countries;

The director of the Gulfood 2022 exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center, Mark Neeper, said in statements to "Emirates Today", that the indicators of the total number of visits are expected to exceed 100,000 visits, while the exhibition succeeded in attracting visitors and specialists from more than 195 countries in the world. To see the latest innovations and new products in the markets to meet the growing needs of the sector and the changing habits of consumers.


Among the most prominent international pavilions that recorded significant growth rates in their participation in the last session of Gulfood 2022 is the French pavilion, which achieved a growth rate of 120% in participation rates compared to the previous session of the exhibition through pavilions distributed among four halls in the Dubai World Trade Center.


Estonia increased its participation in this year's Gulfood exhibition by 166% compared to its participation in 2018, during the pre-pandemic period, while participating companies from Estonia focused on high-value foodstuffs, health benefits and a balanced diet by displaying their various products from natural mineral water, organic chocolate and fresh fish. and vegetable protein products.

The Italian pavilion, one of the largest pavilions participating in Gulfood 2022, recorded the participation of 180 companies this year, an increase of 50% over last year, and at levels similar to the number of participations in the years before the pandemic.

The Turkish pavilion in Gulfood witnessed a growth of 25% in the total participation volume compared to the previous session. The Turkish pavilion in the exhibition included 152 Turkish companies specialized in the production of meat, poultry, dairy products, pulses, grains, oils, food fats and beverages, while the national pavilion of Turkey spanned an area of ​​3,150 square meters. of the exhibition space.

The total participation of companies from the United States of America this year amounted to more than 100 companies displaying their innovative products, and the United States consolidated its presence this year with the participation of 28 new companies in its first additional pavilion.

Chile participated in Gulfood 2022, with 22 Chilean companies representing a variety of food categories from grain to agribusiness, with the aim of boosting its exports to various parts of the region, starting from Dubai.
