  The report pointed out that from the data of urban rental popularity in the week after the Spring Festival, first-tier and new first-tier cities such as Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other cities ranked high in the post-holiday rental popularity.

Most of the 65 key cities in China experienced a month-on-month increase of more than 100% in the rental popularity in the week after the Spring Festival; among them, the rental popularity in Changsha, Dongguan, and Foshan increased by more than 250% month-on-month in the week after the Spring Festival.

  In terms of new rental housing supply, in the week after the Spring Festival, the number of new housing listings in various cities has risen sharply. 44.2% of the interviewed tenants hope to sign a long-term rental contract, and the rental period is expected to be more than one year.

Among them, tenants in first-tier cities are more stable, and 53.4% ​​of them want to sign long-term lease contracts of more than one year.

  As for the rent range of housing listings, 39.9% of the interviewed tenants chose a monthly rent range of 2001-3000 yuan (RMB, the same below).

Different cities have different inclinations for rents. 33.7% of tenants in first-tier cities choose the monthly rent range between 3,001-5,000 yuan, while 42.6% of people in new first-tier cities want the monthly rent to be between 2,001-3,000 yuan.
