“This year, the real disposable income of citizens should grow by at least 2.5%,” Putin was quoted by RIA Novosti as saying.

According to him, "such guidelines have already been set for the government, and this task must be solved."

The President also noted that the increase in citizens' incomes should be based not only on effective measures of social support, but above all on economic growth. 

Earlier, the Bank of Russia raised its inflation forecast for 2022 to 5-6%.

In addition, the Central Bank raised the key rate to 9.5% per annum.
