San Sebastián

-Altza-Bidebieta, at a rate of 2,718 euros per square meter- from the cheapest district of

, -El Carmen - Cardeñas, at 566 euros per square meter-, according to the data collected by the Idealista real estate portal.

The district of Huelva is, in turn, the cheapest in the entire country to

a second-hand home among the provincial capitals.

Neighborhoods in another 11 capitals concentrate the most affordable offer in the residential market among the main cities, such as in Almería, Alicante, Seville, Lleida or Jaén, all below 850 euros per square meter.

In Almería, the district of

reaches 620 euros and in Alicante, in the area of

Virgen del Remedio-Juan XXIII,

The interest in locating attractive purchase opportunities has skyrocketed in the last twelve months in parallel with the desire of citizens to live in larger places, with more common spaces and more light.

This explains why the participation of Spaniards in the purchase market now presents data higher than that registered before the coronavirus hit Spain.

"2021 has exceeded the good expectations with which it began, by far exceeding 550,000 homes sold, highlighting the strength of demand in the second year of the pandemic.
