It increased by 2.0% year-on-year, and recovered to 61.0% in the same period of 2019, and the degree of recovery increased by 4.1 percentage points from the previous month.

  Statistics show that in January this year, 29.512 million passengers were transported, a month-on-month increase of 8.9%, a year-on-year decrease of 2.2%, and a recovery to 55.2% in the same period in 2019. The degree of recovery increased by 3.8 percentage points from the previous month.

  In January, the civil aviation industry completed 654,000 tons of cargo and mail transportation, a month-on-month increase of 1.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 2.3%.

  In addition, in January, China's civil aviation industry completed 757,000 hours of transport aviation flight, a month-on-month increase of 12.2% and a year-on-year increase of 2.9%; general aviation flight 58,000 hours, a month-on-month decrease of 44.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 31.3%.

Safety production in the industry continued to maintain an overall stable trend.

  As of the end of January, China Transport Airlines has continued to fly safely for 137 months and 99.52 million hours, safely transporting 5.09 billion passengers.

  In January, civil aviation guaranteed a total of 348,000 flights of various types, with an average of 11,226 flights per day, an increase of 8.5% month-on-month on average and basically the same as the same period last year.

The national flight regularity rate in January was 96.9%.

  In addition, in the 30 days before the Spring Festival travel period (January 17 to February 15), China Civil Aviation guaranteed a total of 340,000 flights of various types, with an average of 11,322 flights per day, an increase of 24% compared with the same period of the Spring Festival travel period in 2021 (the first 30 days). 27.896 million passengers were transported, an increase of 28.6% over the same period in the Spring Festival in 2021; the flight punctuality rate was 96.3%.
