Who still remembers the self-image of harmony with which the traffic light partners once illustrated their coalition negotiations?

For a realistic documentation, photos of blue spotted shins would probably have to follow.

What Labor Minister Heil has shown with his draft legislation to increase the minimum wage and change mini-job regulations is at least a hidden kick in the shins of the FDP.

Because in a harmonious alliance he would have combined the minimum wage in a set of rules with the increase in mini-job earnings limits, since both are not only closely related in substance, but also politically for the FDP.

But instead, the SPD minister separates the two – and then enriches the mini-job reform with poison pills;

including new bureaucratic working time rules even for companies that do not have mini-jobbers.

If the FDP stays true to its line and the coalition agreement, it would now have to refuse its approval of the minimum wage law – even if hidden kicks turned into open scuffles.
