  Liza Phase II is located in the Stabroek block in Guyana, with one FPSO (floating production storage and offloading unit) and 30 subsea wellheads.

The FPSO is the second FPSO to be put into production in the block after the first phase of Liza. It has completed construction in China and Singapore and will arrive in Guyana in October 2021. The berthing water depth is about 1,650 meters and the designed oil storage capacity is about 2 million barrels.

  "The second phase of Liza has achieved a good start for CNOOC's project in 2022," said Xia Qinglong, president of CNOOC. The continuous exploration and development results of the Stabroek block will become a strong driving force for the company's production growth, and will also contribute to the sustainable development of Guyana's economy and society. make a positive contribution.

  It is understood that the total recoverable resources of the Stabroek block in Guyana are expected to exceed 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

It is expected that by 2027, at least six FPSOs will be operating in the Stabroek block, and the daily crude oil production is expected to exceed 1 million barrels per day.

  CNOOC Petroleum Guyana Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC, holds a 25% interest in the block, Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited holds a 45% interest and acts as the operator, and Hess Guyana Exploration Ltd. holds a 30% interest.
